An old classmate of mine, who is good-looking, suave and working as a pilot in a big airline, once told me: “Men have two heads, one to think and the other to act; often we act without thinking.”
“Your job demands a lot from you. How do you cope with temptations?” I probed.
“It’s hard to tame the animal’s instinct to reproduce, so what we can do is to avoid putting ourselves in delicate or compromising circumstances,” he said. “That’s what separates us from animals.”
“What if, despite all efforts, we somehow cannot avoid it?”
“Then you pray……” He paused and chuckled.
“Pray?”
“Pray that you’ll never get caught!” He burst out laughing.
